Scarlet in the Eyes is the solo project of American musician and multimedia artist Chris M Neumann who performs in The Next Two Bands: and previously played with Strip the Veil.

After years of playing guitar and drum machines and manipulating sounds, Chris has strayed once more towards a ‘twilight zone’ of a music outlet. Drawing upon all of the influences around him, he recreates the images and ideals (or lack thereof) of everyday life into a soundscape blurring the analog and the digital.

His interests in science fiction and the psyche as well as film have become more pronounced in his recent works, ranging from eclectic chronospunk to ambient interpretations of voids beyond humanity and within the soul.
