Old Pretender formed in early 2012, originally a five piece from Stirlingshire, Scotland.
All in their late teens, and hell-bent on creating energetic, guitar-driven rock and roll, the band spent the next two years gaining a cult following and releasing a self-titled EP. They name the likes of the Sex Pistols and the Jesus and Mary Chain as influences.
The EP's most notable song "I'm Aright" was first championed on Fatcat Record's very own demo site, and has since gained radio play in and around the UK, on such stations Radio 1.
