Lumbers is Wesley Goatley, a sound artist and musician living and working in Brighton, England.
Wesley’s work engages with soundflows, space, and perception through both discarded formats and new media technologies. As a sound artist he creates immersive installations and performances that invite his audience to critically analyze their everyday lives and environments.
His recent developments in large-scale public installations have led to new works exhibited at the Brighton Fringe Festival, Cinecity Film Festival, and the Brighton Digital Festival.
As a musician, Wesley has released two albums and a split EP under the name Lumbers. He tours extensively with multi-media performances and regularly composes music for films, video games, and multimedia applications.
