AV-K

AV-K is the solo project of Anacleto Vitolo, a 29 year-old producer from Battipaglia, Italy.

Anacleto began his musical career in 1998 as a hip hop DJ. He then became interested in music production and started creating songs that mix elements of trip hop, glitch, ambient, new wave, noise, industrial and experimental electronic music.

Shortly after launching his AV-K project, he started performing at festivals and shared the stage with the likes of Mount Kimbie, Mokira and Thomas Fehlmann. His exploratory approach to electronic music production earned him awards in his home country.

He provided music for commercials for brands like Toy Watch and contributed to the soundtracks of short films like Checco’s “No Way Out”, Luca Lanzetta’s “Ciò in Cui Credo” and Gianluca Abbate’s "The Story of Gardens."

Ever the experimenter, he also wrote an electronic music piece to soundtrack Alfred Hitchcock’s classic silent film ‘The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog.’
