Vashti Bunyan plays rare UK shows
Vashti Bunyan plays rare shows next month at London's Barbican and at Aerial Festival in The Lake District. She'll be performing a short set as part of two events themed around Richard King's book, 'The Lark Ascending', which follows King’s pilgrimage into rural Britain in search of its musical identity, celebrating the communal experience of gathering together under open skies. The Barbican show also sees performances of a new arrangement of the Vaughan Williams' piece which the book takes its title from, as well as sets from Deep Throat Choir, Rob St. John, Andrew Weatherall and Penguin Cafe's Arthur Jeffes.
