Silje Nes - Live Recording from Suoni per il Popolo Festival

Montreal's Suoni per il Popoli Festival recently hosted FatCat's Silje Nes for a live set, a date on her month-long North American tour with DM Stith.

A beautiful, loop-based, viola and drum-augmented live set, Silje's performance was recorded by CBA.ca Radio and is available to stream from here (click on the "play all" link on the right of the page).

Silje Nes's gorgeous new album Opticks - lovingly crafted home recordings that take in loops, acoustic instruments, electronics and tape interventions - will be released in October 2010.
